Two ways to test for TB
- PPD skin test (TST) — a small injection under the skin; you return in 48–72 hours to have it read. Often required as a two-step for healthcare and school settings.
- TB blood test (IGRA / QuantiFERON) — a single blood draw, no return visit needed, and not affected by prior BCG vaccination. Ideal when you can't come back in 2–3 days.
Not sure which one your employer or school requires? Bring the paperwork and we'll match it exactly — and if you need it fast, the blood test gets you cleared without a second trip.
Who needs a TB test
- Healthcare & senior-care workers — hospitals, clinics, home health, assisted living
- Food-service & food-processing employees
- School staff, teachers & volunteers
- New hires where the employer requires TB clearance
- Students entering nursing, CNA, and allied-health programs
Documentation you can hand right over
When your test is complete and read, we provide clear documentation of the result that satisfies employer, school, and licensing requirements. Pair it with a pre-employment drug test and knock out your whole onboarding in one visit.
Part of full occupational health
TB testing is one piece of the workforce-health services we provide. We also handle titers (immunity checks), vaccinations, respirator fit testing and audiograms — see occupational health.
